Members of SAC had a busy summer. Ron Chew was active with a Vets for Peace March and the Republican Convention in St. Paul, visiting Andy and Terry Burk; Jerry Parker attended a Pre-Olympic Protest against China in support of Tibet; Judy Erickson attended the Democratic Convention as a volunteer and brought greetings to First UU Church of Denver.  At our meeting in September, we prepared a strategy for working with the elementary kids on recycling and composting for John Munger's approval; and planned a voter registration day, and a role for SAC in Kathy and Gail's curriculum of "What is a Change Agent?" for our middle-school students. The Committee Fair was a great success!
