Don Neal
Members of Third Unitarian have always identified music as basic to their sense of the spiritual in life. That need for fine music is well met by our versatile Music and Choir Director, pianist Don Neale.

Don is superbly resourceful in bringing to Sunday Service a wide variety of musicians and vocalists. All music during the service, from traditional hymns to classical and jazz voice and instrumental pieces is selected to support the service's theme. We can count on having a musical experience that will enlarge life and celebrate human achievement in the arts.

Don is a native of Chattanooga, Tennessee, who came to Chicago in 1978 to study physics at Northwestern University. Since that time he has become a highly respected and much in-demand pianist in local jazz, rock, Latin and "society" bands, as well as enjoying high visibility in the dance world, the gospel music world, and the world of musical theatre. He has released two compact discs: For The Piano, a disc of classical music by Beethoven, Debussy, and himself; and Pieces of Night, a disc of compositions by the great Cuban composer Ernesto Lecuona.
