JUSTICE & COMPASSION
We are engaged in our community: growing community gardens; providing scholarship awards to outstanding Austin-area high school graduates; and working with community partners, including: the Central Austin Neighborhood Association (CANA), UU Prison Ministry of Illinois, UU Advocacy Network of Illinois (UUANI), Community Renewal Society, and the Community of Congregations. For all the latest updates see our TUC Facebook page.
Our two community gardens help build community, provide fresh food for members of our neighborhood, and serve local food pantries. Follow us on Facebook.
Austin scholars program
Since 1974, our Austin Scholars Program has awarded more than 500 college scholarships to outstanding high school seniors in the Austin community.
