Join us Sunday, January 14, 11:30am, for our annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. service, as we celebrate 50 years of our congregation's Austin Scholars Award Program.  Since 1974, the Austin Scholars program has supported hundreds of outstanding youth from Austin to attend college.  

Our honored guest speaker will be Ms. Dorothy Tucker, Investigative Reporter with CBS2 Chicago, and the immediate past President of the National Association of Black Journalists.  Ms. Tucker will share about her experience attending Austin High School, what inspired her to go into journalism, and what changes she has seen in the world of news reporting.
